FREE FIRST TIME HOUSE BUYER EVENT
9th September 2009An event to help first time buyers get a foot on the Aberdeenshire property ladder is being held in Inverurie.
Hosted by CALA Homes at their luxurious Priory Park show apartment, the day will focus on ways to achieve the dream of becoming a homeowner, with free independent financial advice, information on incentives and the chance to browse for interior design ideas.
Sales Advisers will be on hand to talk potential purchasers through the seamless and straightforward process of buying a new apartment, to tailor a package to suit individual needs and to highlight the advantages of living in the town.
The event, being run in conjunction with national New Homes Week 2009 (Sept 12-20), will also showcase the Priory Park development and underline the benefits of buying a new build property instead of a second-hand flat – like making your weekend your own instead of devoting it to DIY!
CALA Homes North Sales and Marketing Director, Andrea Joyce, said: “With almost 40% of the development sold, we’ve already enjoyed great sales success at Priory Park but we felt the time – and the market – was right to invite first time buyers in to see how easy the process can be.
“Although the credit crunch has affected the whole country, it is possible to get onto the property ladder and we’ve organised a range of incentives to get things moving for those taking the plunge for the first time.”
Househunters from Huntly, Banff, Deeside and elsewhere around Aberdeenshire are expected to attend the event at the North Street development on Saturday, September 19.
The 48-home development, housed over six apartment buildings, is proving a popular choice for residents looking for the twin advantages of living in a market town but having the city of Aberdeen only minutes from the doorstep.
It features a range of one, two and three-bedroom homes, with ten different styles designed to maximise light and space for contemporary living. There are large open plan interiors with generous corner windows, spacious bedrooms including en suites and master bedrooms and thoughtfully-planned interiors which also include useful storage with a hall cupboard and ample built-in wardrobes.
The show apartment is also beautifully designed and furnished, by Envision interior design, providing real lifestyle inspiration for visitors and lots of ideas to take away.
“The advantages of buying new are numerous and the interior design possibilities endless,” said Andrea Joyce.
“New homes can be more energy efficient which could lead to savings on fuel bills. They are also built to higher, modern building standards than old properties.
“And with CALA you get stylish, modern kitchens and bathrooms with Siemens appliances, integrated washer/driers and fridge freezers so you don’t need to worry about going out to buy them. And that’s an important consideration for first time buyers when every penny counts.”
Add to that, gas central heating, double glazing and a 10-year National House-Building Council guarantee which gives buyers peace of mind.
Then there is the blank canvas that a new home offers – the chance to stamp your own identity on a property and make it totally unique.
With prices from Ł175,000 for a two-bedrooom apartment and a package to suit all needs, including stamp duty paid and floor coverings or help towards a deposit, CALA is opening the door to first time buyers.
Purchasers could have moved in and be enjoying all the benefits by Christmas.
But don’t take CALA’s word for it, see for yourself at the First Time Buyers’ Day, between 11am and 5.30pm, on Saturday, September 19 at Priory Park, North Street, Inverurie or call 01467 629954 or visit www.calahomes.co.uk.
