For a special treat, head for the nearby village of Bray, where you'll have a choice of three famous eateries owned by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, including the Michelin starred Hinds Head and with some forward planning, the famous three Michelin star Fat Duck.

Education

Starting a family may not be high on your agenda right now, but when the time comes, you'll have an excellent choice of local schools. The brand new, out of town retail park, The Bishops Centre, is now open, with big names like Nike, Mountain Warehouse and TK Max.

 

Transport

The Loftings is conveniently close to Maidenhead Station, offering direct trains to London Paddington in just 25 minutes, and with the imminent arrival of Crossrail with works due to start in 2019.

The M4 is just a few minutes drive to the south, providing excellent connections across the south of England, to the M25 and into the city. Windsor is just 7 miles away, High Wycombe 9 miles and Reading 13 miles. The centre of London is just 30 miles away, with Heathrow Airport just half of that, bringing that weekend break in Europe within easy reach.
